Greeetings!

As your Senior Pastor I'd like to let you know how happy I am that you are considering membership at Cornerstone Christian Worship Center. Making the commitment to be "part of the family" will be a mutually beneficial experience! As you have been attending worship services and getting acquainted you have, no doubt, witnessed the fact that God is blessing us. We believe this is a result of our sincere attempt to be a God-honoring Church and that we are meeting the needs of His people.

There is one thig we don't want! Please dont' think that membership is just "another ritual" in the church. We have no intention of you joining Cornerstone and then fading into anonymity. Our desire is for each member to be active in ministry.

Why do we want you to be an "active" member? Because we believe people bloom when they are serving God! Serving God in the church is a positive and rewarding experience. I have seen hundreds and hundreds of poeple grow and bloom into the persons God intended them to be through service in the congregation. It enhances personal and spiritual growth when we serve each other "as unto the Lord."

I, along with the entire pastoral staff and board, desire to serve you too! My prayer is that as you join hands with the Body Of Christ at Cornerstone, and as you allow the Word of God to speak to your heart, we will together be transformed in to the image of Christ Himself. It's great to be your pastor!

The Membership Process

An introduction to the concept of membership

One of the most frequently asked questions in the Church today is "Why Join?"

The answer is commitment.The Christian church is desperately lacking in commitment by her people, commitment both to Christ and His church (His Kingdom). This is reflected in lack of tithes, church hopping, and lack of ministry involvement.

Steps to joining the Cornerstone Team

1. Attend the membership class

2. Participate in a New Members' Receiption and receive the "right hadn of fellowship at a Sunday Service."



Conditions of Membership

1. You must be born again with evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and diligently seeking ato live a holy and spirit-filled life.

2. Christian baptism (After born again experince) One of two Protestant sacraments, communion and baptism. We believe in a believer's baptism. It's an ouward sign of an inward faith. You are making a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ.

3. Acceptance of Cornerstone's doctrinal statements.
